CJ Soto Benefit Golf Tournament

We Care In Anthem would like our supporters know about the CJ Soto Benefit Golf Tournament at the Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia on July 24. We invite you to play, donate or consider a sponsorship.

The following is from the Trilogy Golf Club web site:

CJ is a 13 year old junior golfer who is part of our Vistancia Varmints JR Golf Program. CJ’s grandfather, Jim, works at the course and is considered one of our best team members. Tragically, CJ has recently been diagnosed with a sub acute hepatitis liver failure phase 2, along with valley fever.

After extensive testing at the Children’s Hospital, CJ was transferred by ambulance to the University Medical Center in Tucson. He has spent the last three weeks recovering from the valley fever and undergoing more testing regarding his failing liver.

CJ will spend at least the next four weeks in Tucson to determine if there is any improvement with his liver. If not, he will be put on the transplant list. Medical bills for the family have already passed the $100,000 mark, much of which is not covered by insurance.

In an effort to help the family, Trilogy Golf Club would like you to partner with us in this benefit golf tournament to be held on Friday, July 24th. Please participate by playing, sponsoring, or volunteering for this worthy event.
